Question: Who knew that Mother Mary was pregnant? For some reason, I thought that this was like a “family secret”.

She was the talk of the town.

Meaning: God reminded me that Mother Mary went to see her cousin Elizabeth. By the time she returned to her home, she was already showing. It was obvious she was pregnant.
